There was chance to buy them for donuts at one point when I started the event, but that option has disappeared from my game.


When you have no pick axes play the game, it will tell you to either buy more or exit the game, when you tap buy more you can get 3 pick axes for 3 donuts, 25 pick axes for 20 donuts or 50 pick axes for 35 donuts
