I just simply do not understand the thought behind this update by EA. I do understand that Catholicism is a religion that morphed Paganism and Judaism into one and that Christmas is a Catholic holiday. But that is the point, Christmas is a catholic holiday, not a pagan one. Have a Hanukkah update, cool. Have a Kwanzaa update, could be fun. But Paganism? You have a horned Homer dancing in front of a sacrificial altar on the splash screen. How the **** do you think that is good for a winter holiday event? And not for nothing, but these decorations are poop. I am seriously at a lose of words here.My only hope is that after 10 days, Act 2 becomes more of a traditional Christmas/Holiday event. Epic Fail.

You all need to remember its called WINTER event for a reason.

its because they have done many years of winters in this game and people complain they want something different, so EA tries something different, so them people complain. if they had done a traditional winter like the last several years, people would also complain. cant please everybody. same as every other event. this year people are particularly whiners even before giving the update a chance...some people even posting "hate" threads minutes after the release lol

I know this is a called a WINTER event, but all previous WINTER events revolved around the holiday season.

Nothing says holiday or winter like a pentagram. Or hay carts for that matter. Plus flying saucers remind me of winter every year. Pagan tents and mushrooms, totally winter. Two story outhouses....winter written all over it. Cauldrons, I do not get a Halloween feel from cauldrons at all, I think winter every time.

:D Tbh my first thought was, oh cool Halloween 2.0 (another pagan holiday). No disrespect to the pagans out there, but I'm basically making my "Christmas" area look Halloweeny and kooky/weird.
