It's just that in your first post you write that you bought the egg because it was taking too long to get it. It doesn't seem like you were expecting a second egg until you got one through tapping. So you still have exactly what you paid for.

I do however agree with you that the egg should be sellable however this is an issue with event items in general and not just the faberge egg.
