Ok, I got it out of my system.
I still need 379 more Fertilizer to get it for my number 2 game.
I told ya'll : Upgrade! Monsarno to at least 16 (17 is better), Herbicide Squirter to 15 (though I'm actually not there yet - I've only gotten to 13 so far).
I figure that by the time I get to Level 15 on the Squirter I won't even need to have my characters crafting every hour...
Yes, I admit it. I've been on an hourly cycle since the 1 hour "Work the Land" task opened up for me. I have no life outside this game.
But I got the Farmers Market and that makes it all worth it!
Congrats wadebear! I am about 1,000 ferts away from the farmers market. Should have it by tomorrow. Monsarno is level 20 and sprayer is at level 15. So glad to be done upgrading them! Now I can concentrate on grinding away for crafting materials. Oh! I almost forgot. I am 8 hours away from finishing the opera house! Sideshow Bob! Sideshow Bob! :mrgreen: - congrats
I'm planning on getting it at the end og act 2 together with gas and grub and welcome back bob sign.

I finally decided to hold onto all my crafting supplies until I see what Phase Three offers. Then I'll craft my favorite item first, and work my way backward through my list of also-wants.
I'm almost at Level 19 on the Monsarno building ... But have a question about the squirter ... All it says is that it will increase range ... I'm somewhere below Level 8 on it ... I have supplies to get it to higher levels ... Am I missing something?
DOH! Ignore that green part! (Duh, Annette.) - Crafted the market and now I doing the math on the rest of the items and figuring, No Way :!:
Event may last a month, but reckon we need a year to craft the rest of the items and we don't yet know what awaits in act 3 :evil: - Since we are in brag mode, I need 4000 DNA for the sign and then I suppose I will get the planter. The last of the crafting items. I am hoping to get another HR building and three cane fields before the next items arrive to be crafted.
- I'd like to brag, too! I can't play at work anymore ( :-( :thumbdown: ), but I have the market, opera house, and Bob is currently having some trouble with gardening tools. I was worried that missing out on 9 hrs of tapping/day would set me back too far to catch up. I should get the last gas mask prize tonight or tomorrow, so I guess I'll get by okay. :)

Keep tapping on! The end is nowhere in sight. :| - To get farmers market by the end of act 1, one needed 18,400 fertilizer as you needed the upgrades to do so. However by my calculations one was only able to get 16,576 fertilizer total (including spending on upgrades) in act 1. Unless one got lucky on the random roll between fertilizer, corn, and seeds it was not possible to craft the farmers market by the end of act 1. I'm not sure I want to try and do the math for act 2. I'm at research 19 and squirter 12 and have a average per day of 1,405 fertilizer, 562 corn, and 670 dna. During act 1 I had an average of 931 fertilizer per day. About 25% less than needed to get FM in act 1. Even adjusting for the two days I missed I still would have been 20% short per day. And 10% shy of the total possible I calculated. Some how I came up 6 fertilizer per day short.

Wow, that's a lot of calculating. Now for the simple answer...
There was a glitch with the Cecil tasks where you could get double payout. I didn't know about it until late in Act 1, but I got LOTS of bonus donuts using it.
