I started a second town after about a month of playing. Tapped out is really the only phone game I've played in the past year for more than a day so I figured why not? It'll pass some time. My main town also started growing pretty quick after I started getting doughnuts and I thought I'd give it a fresh doughnut free start. It's a small commitment to just log on once a day at most to send everyone on their quest task or longest possible task. It's basically the same reason I might re-watch a movie I've seen, or re-read a book I've read.
My second town did catch up to the max level during the Christmas event and I am bored of it now. I want to abandon it, but I feel like it would be a waste to leave a level 38 town since I still am an active Tapped Out player.
