Finally caught up!

Congratulations -- I am waiting on millions of $$$$ to buy the next buildings (need $3mil)....

Then next, onto expansion.....I'm with you - need to expand out to make my town look better
  • Pimento Grove is going down to $112K with the Level 26 update, so I'm holding off.

I've finally started building Burns Manor, and already have Pimento Grove. Next up on the agenda: expand my land and make it look good, with added premium items.

I don't have enough space for the buildings I already have, much less any premium items, so I plan on spending around 400k in the next week or so expanding and then making my town look presentable. I can't wait!

Congratulations! That's the real fun in TSTO - making your town "yours" :)

Please post some screen shots when you're happy with it. Good luck!

Congrats, I still don't have the Pimento Grove
At the moment I'm trying to reach 1milion to buy the Escalator.
After that, I'll buy more land and redesign my town.

Why? It's not particularly attractive, and like most items (Pimento Grove) the price will drop to something more reasonable. Pimento Grove is something that you can actually personalize (decorate) and will make a nice looking addition to your town.
  • I'm currently in a 7 by 6 land. Most of my Springfield is set up, but the bottom right corner is all clustered together and will eventually be the "upper class" area when I have more land. I will also start building Cypress Creek in the next couple of weeks. I plan on buying the volcano, brewery, Springfield sign and tire fire right off the bat. That will take a bunch of extra land.

if you are an old school, die hard fan, you absolutely have to have the escalator to nowhere and the Popsicle Stick Skyscraper, no matter what the cost.

My point is why bypass lower priced buildings that can be nice additions to your town in order to save for a ridiculously expensive building that is going to drop in price in a matter of weeks/months (and certainly by the time you've saved up for it)? Not to mention the impending updates....
  • I agree. The escalator and skyscraper are must have additions for my town. That being said, I don't see myself buying either of them for a long time. I'm glad they aren't limited time items. They give serious players something to build toward.
  • Oooooh, well done

This is the fun part  to begin u are so consumed with tasks & catching up that u don't really get a chance to glorify ur town, so enjoy pal.

ATM I'm saving for the escalator. simply can't not have it in my town.
