Fire Tablet Question

I'm considering buying an Amazon Fire HD tablet as they're on sale at the moment. Does anybody play Tapped Out on a Fire tablet and if you do, what's it like? I have a Kobo Arc tablet I used to play it on but it was so slow and laggy I gave up. I'm currently playing it on my iPhone 6 Plus but as it's only 16GB and I have apps on there I need to use, there's only just enough memory left to run the game and while it runs pretty smoothly, I'm often kicked out of the game and back to my phone's home screen 5 or 6 times when I'm playing. Basically what I wanna know is can the game be played on a Fire HD tablet without any lag issues or crash issues? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me on this.
  • I play on an iPhone 6s and a Kindle Fire 7. Play is fine on the Kindle, but I don't use it very often because it is nearly impossible to keep the charger cable connected.
It will fall out if someone in the next county farts.

I would gladly pay more if they made the charger connect with a firm "click"
  • TSTO works fine on my kindle fire. My only complaint is the Amazon App Store is really week in comparison to google and apple.
  • It is very easy to get apps from the google play store on the fire with minimum effort.
Install an apk extractor on an android device, share extracted apk with dropbox, install on your fire tablet.
  • To put this to rest, I reported the problem to Amazon AND bought an official replacement cable within the first week of ownership. Amazon couldn't have cared less. I've worked in the customer service industry and I don't generally have problems getting these kinds of issues satisfactorily resolved. When I quit Amazon Audible (books) and again when I stopped buying Kindle booksthey asked me why, I explained that the charger connection made the using the tablet frustrating. "Okay" was their second response to lost business.

My take is how they choose to handle their business is "their business". Every time someone asks me about my Kindle I tell them the unvarnished truth, that's the part of "my business" that was left to me when Amazon repeatedly decided to drop the ball ("let's use a worthless charger connector, blow off the user experience and save a few pennies", "your Kindle operation is frustrating? OK. Have a nice day.", "you bought a new cable and it still doesn't work? OK. Have a nice day.", "you're leaving Audible?" OK. Have a nice day.", I hope you get the picture
  • Just loading apps from an APK onto a fire IS NOT JAILBREAKING OR ROOTING. It is just loading an application. The fire has a setting that allows for this. It does not affect the warranty in the least.
  • Good to know, my warranty isn't affected in the least.

Darn, my Kindle's charger connection is still lame.
