Free Land Tokens

Question

Do I need to use the free land tokens before this event ends?  I'd like to save them for some of the more expensive sections of land, but I don't want to risk losing them.

Previously it was concluded that they would stay as they're in the main inventory. But you never know for sure with EA.

As above it is believed to be fine to save the land tokens until you wish to use them.
