FRINK

Yes they did homer named them friend points but that has nothing to do with the message. It's nothing bad so don't worry about it no one really knows some say it's other Springfield others say it's when the name of the person who tagged your buildings and their name isn't saved so Frink is used instead but no need to be freaked out

The best theory I've seen is the time based one. I think Frink replaces the friend's name if it's been more than 24 hours since the handshake was cleared. Or it's something along those lines. I only saw it in my second town, since I visit it sparingly but I have neighbors visiting me daily over there. So there is some time frame where it forgets the name of the last person and inserts "Frink" in instead. I find this to be the most believable case.

Well I think so too but I can confirm it's not 24hrs I hadn't been on for two weeks and when I finally got back on it wasn't Frink who tagged my buildings. But maybe there's no set time and that it's random

Thank you, everyone! I'm so relieved! I'm thinking it must be random because I clear my handshakes no less than twice a day. (Usually, an embarrassing amount of times a day.) Unless it's based on the friend... than that shoots that theory right out the window. But again, thank you. I really appreciate how fast you all answer questions. This forum is filled with so many helpful Simpsonites. :D It's really comforting.

My Frink was on a house. But now that you mention it, one of my neighbors only tapped two houses. That third one must've been theirs. BTW... the first time a handshake popped up right next to the house/property I was working on blew my mind. Someone's finger just tapped my house! How strange... :shock:
