Future Proofed home Ladybot

I already had a "Future-proof home" from the original event, but didn't get Lady-bot at the time, she was re-released once since then but as a bundle (I think with Prof Frink) which it wouldn't let me buy.
The point being that this time round it let me buy her even though I had the building already, so the "unique item" it refers to must be the character, not the building. This is supported by what @Castiel19x has found out about storing the character to exploit the loophole.
Either way, thanks to those brave souls who tried to get a 2nd Lady-bot & just got the home, you saved me wasting 100 donuts as I was planning on risking it after I'd finished the story missions of my 1st one.

I was going by the info on the wiki that has the building down as unique @TheRealTiminator

It's worth a try @Castiel19x, I'm not sure if it even still shows up if you're not allowed it though.
I do remember trying to sell or store my House of Evil the 1st time they bundled Evil shopkeeper & Krusty doll with that, but it wouldn't let me sell it & storing didn't help.
But when they apparently re-released Casino Miss Springfield in a bundle I didn't even see it in my town, just read about it on here.
The only other bundle I think I've fallen foul of was the return of Treestache, but I can't remember if that was visible in my town or not?

I'm privy to the same info as Ellie. I'm not lying. Multiple unique items CAN cause serious issues in your game. Not WILL but CAN. I'm not trying to spoil anyone's fun but sound a note of caution. Calling me a liar is just going beyond the pale.

Oddly the building still shows as available in my store. It might be that the classification of Unique has been dropped, or it might be a glitch, but I can add to my two if I wish.
I would imagine EA are aware one way or the other though, and these won't come back to bite you.
Other buildings on the other hand would be considered suspicious to say the least if a player had more than one, and that might result in trouble for the player.

I think when the Future-Proofed Home was first released in the Sci-Fi event, you could only get one of it since EA offered it 2 different ways in that event:
1) In a bundle with LadyBot for 100 donuts.
2) On its own for 45 donuts.

The only other times it was available was in the Cyber Monday mystery box so it would've been difficult to get multiple Future-Proofed Homes from the mystery box since you usually can get one non-unique item from a mystery box if you haven't got it once before. I believe EA limited everyone to only having one Future-Proofed Home in the Sci-Fi event and Black Friday but with the current event, EA has allowed everyone the option of getting more than one Future-Proofed Home.

Also, if you store the Future-Proofed Home, it would appear near the end of the categories it appears in (Buildings, Homes etc.) with the other non-unique items as it would've appeared nearer the front of the categories with the unique items.

To summarize, I think the Future-Proofed Home has always been a non-unique item but in past updates everyone was only limited to one of them. In the current event, everyone can buy multiple Future-Proofed Homes.
