Game crashes when visiting neighbors

Are you playing on a new device? I have an iPad air 2 and my game never crashes. But, my brother that's using an older tablet often runs into problems. EA could stop giving us more land so the game plays flawlessly on old devices, or keep upgrading and focusing on the game running well on newer devices.
