Game crashes when visiting neighbors

Try disconnecting your track. I did this, kept my 9 possums per 4 hrs, and my game stopped freezing. I disconnected the track leaving 4 pieces connected to the station.
I was crashing on every single friend visit I tried until I too disconnected the track right at the station so that the monorail doesnt leave the station and my crashing was reduced significantly. Now i crash every few friends instead of every friend.
Is there a bigger fix for this? I really hope they can fix this before Act I is over :D
