I found it crashed when I'd been going daft farming or if I let it run too long.
Also causes the vanishing neighbours glitch.
I've a feeling it keeps a history in memory so the longer it's on or the more you do the more clogged up the memory gets. I found popping to friends towns then quitting and restarting solves it, so long as I remember to do it before the problems start !!
I have been designing in the game hours at a time. Mostly it is stable, crash once an hour. Sometimes late at nite it'll crash several times an hour.
But I recognize this game can crash from any network traffic hiccup between their server and my internet router. That's a lot of variables.
