Game nearly unplayable since update

I have about 8 seconds of lag/freezing every time I tap on something since the update. Anyone else have this issue? I'll send people to collect trash and half of the people are done before I can even send everyone. Already uninstalled and reinstalled, any other thoughts?

Have you tried restarting your Internet router just in case the something is glitched in it, apart from that I'm out of ideas for the moment.

The only other thing I can think of is to delete any friend requests you have out or waiting.

it was doing it regardless of where i was.

now for the really odd thing, i finished this mini event, and now it's working just fine. i believe that's when the problems started so it may be directly tied to it or is the weirdest coincidence ever. thanks to all who tried to help!

Guess it's one of those things that you just chalk up to experience as you will probably never know for sure what caused the problem but it is great to hear that it has fixed its self and you can play normally again.
