This game is one of the few, if not only, truly freemium games that actually doesnt require money. There is no lvl cap that makes you purchase to continue. That said, some events do have level requirements which means you wont be able to obtain limited time buildings. If you're already at lvl 27, you're probably in the clear for most future events. Newer players just have to accept that some limited items wont be available to them. In regards to all the premium content - this game has been around for 4 yrs. So for long time players the content was gradually added. For new players it prob looks like the majority is premium - but that really isnt the case. With every lvl up you will unlock new content that you can purchase with in game currency. Its not a race. Just enjoy the ride and let some content go.
