Very well stated, chrisp...I used the same digital music comparison on another site. If you choose to hack the game, great...if you don't, wonderful...more power to you. I don't care either way. It's your own individual choice how you want to play and it doesn't affect me one way or another. Complaining about people using hacks comes off like sour grapes from people who want items they can no longer get to me. Otherwise, why would you bother complaining about it? Just enjoy your game and move on.

I don't really want to get in on this argument, but to say that hacking doesn't have the potential to affect people who choose not to is naive at best. If enough people got donuts and premium items for free it could cut into EA's profits. This would result in them raising the prices on donuts and premium items. I think Luci's opinion is just as important as someone who has hacked. You shouldn't try to dismiss it just because you disagree.

Except that's never happened. EA's prices have been the same since day 1. So lets cross that imaginary bridge when we get there.

And my point was, if you download music, or anything else, then what right does anyone have to judge others for hacking? Give me a break. It's not about disagreeing. It's about, that until hacking THIS game effects your experience, then you have no argument.

I never said that it was affecting non hackers. I said it had the potential to. By your argument, I shouldn't worry about my neighbor's leaning tree just because it hasn't fallen onto my house yet. That tree has the potential to affect me, but you're saying my concerns are invalid because it hasn't damaged me yet. Yeah, sure.

If your neighbor has a leaning tree, you should voice your concerns to your neighbor.
If you think someone is hacking their game, you should voice your concerns to EA. You have every right to do so, and you probably should. Whether it's an individual user or someone like Gamezino. Report them. Let EA handle it. There's no need to come an internet forum and * and complain about it. Do something about it if it bothers you that much.

My point, since I clearly need to make it one last time, is that, it's completely hypocritical and comical to bash people for hacking, when the same people don't care if someone downloads music illegally or buys bootleg dvds. It's the exact same thing as Gamezino. You're not paying the artist/developer, they're not seeing a dime of that money. You're paying an outside 3rd party to provide you an illegal service. There's an entire thread on here about someone buying seasons 1-24 on bootleg, and no one said a word, but someone hacks their game, and let's get our panties in a bunch like it has some effect on our lives. What's the difference between the DVD's and the game? Please, explain that one to me. You're not paying Fox/EA anyway you look at it, and by your logic, you should be in an uproar over it because it has the POTENTIAL to make Fox raise their DVD prices in the future. So yeah, sure :)

You're the one that seems upset. I honestly don't care how much you've hacked and glitched. What I did care about was your self-important post where you bashed someone else's opinion just because you didn't agree. Yes, I'm a hypocrite. We all are. I've download movies and music without paying before. I've probably had some miniscule effect on the music and movie industrie's bottom line, but I wouldn't hack this game. I wouldn't want to be punished for downloading movies and music, but I happen to think that the people who have knowingly hacked this game should be banned. Hypocritical? Yes, but atleast I'm not an Idjt trying to convince myself and others that I've done nothing wrong.

Yep, and I'll continue to bash people who bash other people when their opinion is a joke. And when you're a hypocrite, you're opinion is a joke. Everyone has the right to make their opinion known, and I have the right to make my response. Which, I'll continue to do.

Upset? About what? I was stating facts and my own opinion. I'm not sure where you got upset from. And who is trying to convince their self or anyone they're doing nothing wrong? Where did anyone say that? People who hack this game know damn well what they're doing, and if they're not prepared to deal with the consequences, then that's their own problem. I don't remember ever saying people who hack shouldn't be banned? Can you find that one for me? Don't think so. If they get banned, then of course they got what they deserved. It's that simple. I never said they didn't/wouldn't deserve it. I said people need to stop judging others. Anyone can feel free to throw the first stone when they've done nothing wrong themselves. If you can't understand that point, then that pretty much says it all.
