Can I get a confirmation on this issue:
The only way neighbor towns have Gil wandering is:
- Gil deal is actively being offered
Or
- unauthorized modification (gack)
So he was never offered as a limited availability feature,
And even if you ignore him, when the deal is expired he goes away?
Right?
- You may also want to check how long since your friend has played the game. Saw him after the deals were over in a "friend's" town. I checked and saw they hadn't been playing for 5 days.
- I had to hide certain posts in this thread because there's stuff we aren't supposed to talk about on this forum.
Gil has never been offered as a permanent character. If there isn't a Gil deal running, he should not be in a town. Leave it at that. - There is a way for current players, who are playing, and are not hackers to have Gil in there town. If you stopped playing the first time Gil appeared and did not log in for an extended period of time (months to a year) then Gil somehow got "burned" into your town. I know this because one of my fiance's feeder towns has Gil roaming around in it. You can not click or him or interact in anyway. All he does is center himself in your screen and beg.

Mysterious! We will never know what was posted!- I have Gil stuck in my town and can't get rid of him, you can't do anything with him all he does is walk a short distance then kneel down and prey, the action then repeats over and over and over again forevvvvvvvvvvvvvvr, I actually had two Gil's at Christmas with the donut sale, Gil just appeared in my town about six months ago trying to sell something (can't for the life of me think what it was) the game froze then crashed and he has been there since, to be honest I don't even notice him anymore.

Man, so many people would kill for that glitch. A lot of people would enjoy Gil walking around if you can tell by these thread posts.
