Giving up

I've given up
This is the 5the event where i never even get the last two prices of every act.
As i said this before i have a family and work that take up most off my time (gladly)
Playing every event and every act so fast after each other takes the fun out of it.
I will not play every hour.
So i gave up ... I kem farm for donuts and see what i can get for Them

Any one else feels this way or has any thought on this?

Sorry tapper
  • Agreed, I get all the prizes, but it's understandable that people will less time on their hands would definitely not get all the prizes.

But, like others have said, if I could just get the prizes really quickly every time, where would the fun in that be!? :D
  • Freemium is hard this time around, especially if you dont play often enough, 3 minimum, 4-5 to be sure.

Often times i use my freemium town play the Act and then post the tips, but this time it was very straight forward, the game was rigged from the beginning if you got in on the "glitches" before they became patched you should've been fine.
The other way was to invest in the premium items, its the best way to stay on top of things.
  • Don't give up. I didn't get Sgt Skinner on Act I. But I just got President Lisa. I play only 3-4 times a day. You don't need to play every hour.

It's a game. You can't win them all. None of these items are real.
  • I think events are cool. I admit I get bored without them. It makes me wanna come back and play several times every day, instead of just once a day. And yes, I also get upset when I don't get the final character of the act. But just as some said before me...afterwards they just wander around my town and I don't think about them anymore.

So I would say, just play events at your pace and if you don't get them, don't care and keep playing just for fun.
We are all strivers, we always want to win. I think that's what takes the fun out of the game. It's just as playing a board game with your kids. Crying when they loose. We need to overcome this and play for the fun and not the win. (and yes I know it's easier said than done)

you got kids? train them to tap for you. (make sure to disable app purchases first)

Seriously though I have a level 28 freemium town that is 5000chronons away from pres Lisa and I've been totally slacking.
The event is too long I think! Acts should last a week at most.

I agree that the constant event cycle makes events seem less special. It seems to be the current model for these type of games though.
  • I'm freemium, log in maybe three times a day and got President Lisa on Friday.

    But whatever, bye!

  • My phone got turned off- just before end of act 1 - off for 5 days or so of act 2 ----- Was only able to get on MAX 3 times - more likely 2 when I hit wifi during the day- for more than a week and I still got all the prizes easily.
Premium earners are a huge help, and although I feel the grind a bit - it has not reached the point for me where I feel like I'm grinding to NOT get the prizes(Easter)
So, with getting on 2-3 times at best a day - its still possible

I play morning train, quick lunch break, train home and pre bed. I hit everything with 2-3 days spare. I spend maybe 15mins a day total.

But yer its way to hardcore at moment and forcing casuals like me out.....

Your spending 15 minutes a day .... but the game is too hardcore for you.
