Ok, I'm confused with this update. Should I leave buildings, etc., uncollected in my town so that visiting neighbors find something to do? Not much in that for me if I only get FP from graffiti and I delay collecting the money/XP from my buildings. Also this update encourages tapping on things like Kwikemarts because that may be all that's left. Any thoughts?
I will still be collecting from my town regularly. It won't matter as long as I'm not going in every hour.- I moved 3 of my buildings to my drop zone as well, which looks terrible because my towns is already all built up. BUT, it makes it easier for friends to graffiti. I feel like I have enough things for friends to tap that I don't need to add buildings. I guess if you don't check often during the day, it's a good idea to add some houses.
- One nice thing they did was make handshook buildings payout more than the normal rate so when you do get a tapped brown house it's not completely worthless.

Well, how many friend points do we get per graffiti? If it's only 1 per and there are only a handful of buildings that allow this, redesigning over 5 points or so every few hours seems a waste.
It's only 1 per building, so far today I have gotten 10 this way. I guess it falls under the "every little bit helps" category.- From what I'm experiencing, we need to clear handshakes before visitors can tap again.
NORMALLY, a brown house could be tapped, left unattended, and ten minutes later it regenerates so a new visitor can tap it. Same with KwikEMart and Simpsons, etc.
That's not what I see happening. Until I enter my town and clear the handshakes, the building will be unusable for visitors. So it is strictly my own (!!!) Opinion that the more buildings we can leave uncollected the better.
If you can, maybe bring out some of low-money stuff from storage (if you have them stored) like wailing walls and metal Christmas tree and gypsy house and whatever, and maybe just shove them behind other buildings, or into a corner if you happen to have one. A visitor will see the icon they need, even if the object is hidden.
And go ahead and collect your valuable properties, blue and orange and white houses, etc ... Find as many things as you can that will be tappable rather than leave your high-money generators uncollected?
As for me, I'll have the luxury of keeping my rents uncollected (some twist of fate leaves me drowning in in game cash). But I sure couldn't have managed that three months ago, when I'd get excited to see that i had enough in game cash to afford a newspaper dispenser AND a tree. At the same time! . :) shasurveyi256 wrote:

Right...and I am only saying that if you are concerned about shuffling things around for only a few friend points...so far there is no time limit on this....why do all the work and hate your town for 10-20 measly points...let it ride and visit others to collect the points
I tend to agree with this view. This is different, IMO, than the time-limited, deadline events, where helping a neighbor needed to be intense so they could get the award in time, before it was too late. Moving something to the landing zone sounds very thoughtful, but do you have a set span of time in mind for when you plan to bring your town back to normal?
When the next time a limited event comes up, I'd sure do everything in my power to help others reach deadlines, collect cards or coins or too to spin a temporary wheel, etc. But I don't get a sense of urgency with this update. If I get to a town and see nothing to collect I call on my inner Scarlett O'Haraand figure " tomorrah is anotha day."
Or am I missing something?- You get FP from every building not just graffiti, and you need to clear your town so friends can tap them.

You get fp from graffiti in your own.- Someone tapped one of my KL rides, and I'm pretty sure I got an FP from that. So knowing that the majority think KL is a waste, is if a faux pas to tap rides of my neighbors?
Edit: Just got another handshake in KL, but I was mistaken there is NO FP generated from it, just tickets & XP - Man....Can't understand why peeps get so uptight about the GAME.....If you are a neighbour of mine..tap on anything, anytime, anywhere....don't tap...take a couple days off from visiting...i couldn't care less..I just love the Simpsons..Love the game and I'm happy with whatever E.A. gives us to collect!!
Peace!!!
P.S. I know lots of you wern't really uptight but iv'e been perusing the posts alot tonight and the whining is rampant.
