(BTW, you and I will need to agree to vehemently disagree on that issue. My parents never would accept anything inferior -- whether free or not. If my brother mowed the next door neighbor's lawn for free and did a poor job of it, he'd get hit from every side -- my parents AND the neighbor. I believe the snarky way of putting it was "Don't do me any favors". People weren't afraid to tell my brother that his work was crap. That was a value I grew up with. Never be satisfied with anything shoddily done, whether by yourself or by others -- free or paid.)
