Got caught in an advantageous glitch
So I sent nearly everyone in Springfield on the pirate recruitment task (or whatever it was). When I went to clear the task, with over a hundred thumbs up, it caused my game to crash. No biggie, that happens. Log back in, try again. Crashed again. Hmmm, third times a charm? Crash again. Now I'm concerned. Log back in yet again, but this time I notice something: my XP has been going up, along with my cash. Not every time, but at least 1 in 3.
So I keep logging in to try to clear the task, and the game keeps crashing. But my XP and money keep counting. After, no lie, almost 100 trys, the task clears. But I increased my in-game cash by 2 million, and went over a million XP quite a few times, resulting in about a dozen donuts.
Odd.
