Gremlins
If it is true that the gremlins your neighbors leave aren't stealing your goo, then I am choosing not to tap them as this helps my neighbors earn goo.

I placed some in a few friends towns. Every now and then I get a pop up saying how many goo they have "stolen" for me. Last count was 28.
