I only farm 40-60 KEMs every 4 hrs and get 3 chances for free donuts. Since I always go for 3, I get at least 9 donuts every 4 hrs. I can't easily KEM-farm as much as I like to, especially when my in-game money gets low.
Which relates to a few questions about Gil's offer:
1) Does the aquarium increase the percentage of the bonus zone area?
2) Is there an extra percentage increase to the conformity bonus rating after placing the aquarium?

I used to pass on characters when I was donut poor, but later regretted not getting them. If it's a character you want, get it if you have the donuts. You'll get more donuts later with farming, but the character may not come back.
