I still wish they would change the friends clocks to just every day instead of 24 hours. I know it's been suggested many times here but it would make visiting every friend so much easier.

Start what?

To clarify: After the update (any update in general) there is a grace period where people can keep playing without updating. Then the 'forced update' happens and if you try to play the game won't let you until you update to the current event.

If they didn't have the airport, I checked to see their last play. I got rid of ones that hadn't been playing. I did keep a couple that I didn't want to lose. I will hide them once I can't tap anything in their town.

same here, was keeping most because they HAD things to tap, but i decided it was better to help those that still play than strain myself and visit everybody, dropped the list to about 80 people.

The problem is that I don't concentrate enough to notice whether they've got an airport or not. When I'm neighbor tapping I kinda zone out and just automatically start looking for something to tap. It's only when I've been searching for a couple of minutes that I realize they might not have updated.
Then there are the ones who updated then stopped playing. These aren't newbies here so surely they know to tap the Pins... Are they sick? Did their internet go out (like ours did for almost a month)? Or have they just decided to stop playing?
I play this other game (like once a day... if I remember...) where we have a Club communications system - your Club works as a group to complete tasks in a Solitaire variant. I really wish we had that here.

Well now I'm gonna have to say that the forced update has NOT hit yet - because I just got 2 handshakes and a graffiti.

I wanted to clear out some inactive neighbours for ages but was too lazy to do that. I finally did that and have some new neighbours added because of the osaka flu.

It is sad to say good-bye to some really nice neighbours but I'm gladed that many of my new neighbours have very nice town designs!

I currently have 96 neighbours in the main town after a seep and clean, with about a dozen being new. In the last 24 hours less than 20 have visited me, but I have visited them all. Why post in the add me thread and then not visit. I am an infrequent visitor between events but make a point of daily for all during events. Guess its time to be less nice and see if I can cull the non helpers and find new. I really hate to dump long time friends but when its the same no visit every event they are not helping at all.

Some neighbors I just don't want to give up on, so I click the "hide" button
