Help: how do I turn off these blasted alerts??

i dont even have a box for notifications under Tapped Out. Maybe Im doing this wrong, ive only had this phone for about a month so its still pretty new to me...

So I went to:
-settings
-applications
-tapped out

i dont even have an option to change anything from there. :-(

Do you know what version of Android you are running?

There is now an app that will turn off notifications for android users. this
app is made for the simpson's. The app is called tapped out tools search google play.

I'm about to show just how stupid I am with this phone......

When you go into your settings menu towards the bottom there should be an option for "About Phone". If you have 4.1.2 installed you have Jellybean which gives you the option to disable the notifications.

He has a Galaxy S2, not an iDevice.

OK well here's what I have to say.. Root your device. Google XDA-developers and look up your device on their forum they will teach you how to customize your phone to how you like then put on a rom that is 4.2.2 jelly bean and ypu can now do what ever you want when it comes to your phone.

I have a rooted skyrocket s2 running cm10.1 which is jelly bean 4.2.2 att or Samsung wont put out jelly bean on my device so I did it myself.

For my phone i just put it on vibrate and it doesnt bother me much but i kno my friends ipad he cant get the notifications to stop either and had to delete the app bcuz it affected it while using other apps such as Skype, any1 help? He turned off notifications but nothing..

The worst is when you play the dog races before you go to bed. An hour later I always hear the starting trumpets usually as I am just getting off to sleep.
