HELP PLEASE WITH SIMPSONS XMAS

Please if somebody knows the answer can you help me out cause I have no idea how to Do it. All of my friends towns have all of their Christmas lights up on their houses and I don't know how to put my Christmas lights on my houses and buildings so if anybody knows how to can you please let me now thank you everyone!!

    If you bought them in the past Christmas events then all you have to do is click on the houses and change skins or if you have the plunger just tap that to activate them all at once.

    If you haven't got any then you'll have to missed out on the lights this year round.

    Because EA are EA :( They don’t have them for sale every year, even though I feel they should be.

    I have two towns, one is from waaay back and the second is newer. I don’t recall ever having to option to buy light “skins” for my houses even though I have the plunger. I figured that’s how you got them. Why wouldn’t it be offered every Christmas?
