Or you could put 3-6 brown houses somewhere and leave them for the coin fiends.

This is a good point. I always clear the expensive houses immediately. It's the brown houses I leave untapped. I've got about 12 of them (which I pulled out of storage for the Santa coins spread out since I don't like farms). Does it mean I'm obsessed with trying to impress my friends? lol
