I thought I was seeing things. You are right, these roses are ugly, bumpy, stupid-looking things. I like the old ones better. I don't know why they had to change the ones we already had.

I thought the consensus was that the roses from last year were cool so why change something that people never complained about?

Let's hope that the servers are down right now to fix this important issue, probably not, but we can hope.

Me, too. I placed lots of them last year to beautify property, not spoof it

Would one of the forum members with experience with this sort of thing tell me whether this would be as simple a fix as I think it would be? Assuming we would all prefer for all the rose bushes to be the same style, isn't it just a matter of swapping the image file out from this new one to the old one?

Or am I missing something here?

They switched all the existing ones in people's towns from V-day 2013 so it can't be that hard to switch them back.

They look like mushy bean bag chairs.

Yeah, that's what I thought, too. My own (totally basic-level) experience with web design is that all I need to do is switch the image name in the link. The fact that this changed universally (meaning it includes already-existing images for older players) means TO ME that they swapped out a single image name across the board.

The old ones had obvious hearts. Added lots of red, and our land aping needs all the additional color they can give us.

unless i zoom way in, these new ones look more like berries. :(

Bumped because I just harvested another "new" bush and still want the old one.
