why are people still asking for night mode? you really want them to spend months recoloring all items and redoing all animations for it? and download double ammount of data?
Nope. It wouldn't require everything being redesigned. A filter to darken the screen in all places except where light from street lamps, etc. would be. Some lighting effects would be required and could be done with programing rather than animation.
