Not fixed for me either. I had Homer fly the sleigh twice ,did lots of Kl & friends deleted and reinstalled on 2 devices. Task shows done but won't clear . I went to start a help ticket and is over a 90 minute wait.
how can you have him do it twice? when i completed the task, it went away in my tasks for homer to do. the job on the task bar says done but wont go away as completed. the only other way I can have homer do it again involves the 24hr task from having santa homer.
Have you gone in and cleared the cache, on your devices? Try logging off the game, going and clearing the cache. Uninstall the game. Do a hard reboot, (turn the system OFF, not a restart, let it stay off for at least 15 seconds minimum as this allows the device to TOTALLY shut down all programs running). Then re-install. See if that helps with your issues. Sounds like the glitch is not clearing, and this might help push it out the corrupt file(s) and allow the updates to complete sans the corrupt file(s).- now i have it pt 15 started in my feeder town, but it still wont start in my regular town! AAARRRGGGHHH!
- Geeze took me over an hour after Lisa was free, several hard closes, and two uninstall/reinstalls before it worked...
I don't like to be critical of EA too often but this was unacceptable! - Just got the update and now Santa is ok and delivering presents! Thanks for the hints and tips and thanks to EA. Hope all you people can get it working soon!
- When you guys say clear the cache do you mean the Safari cache? On iOS obviously.

The device not your browser
Can you walk me through it? Delete it from General - usage - manage storage or reset settings? Or is it a power down trick?
Thanks!- Finally got it to trigger, but not via my tablet, but via my mobile phone. Hope the best for the rest of you. :)

Depends on what device you are playing on, where the cache is. If it is a tablet, or phone, go to where the aps are. Locate The Simpsons Tapped Out. Where exactly the applications are located, depends on which type device.
DEVICE = what you are playing the game on, an iPhone, iPad, Smart phone, tablet etc.
OS = Operating System. On any device other than an Apple product (iPhone or Ipad)is going to be an Android OS. Apple is called iOS.
The cache is located where you give 'permissions' for applications, on your device. You are ONLY deleting the cache for the game!!!!
If you are not sure, you can google "where is the cache for {whatever device} The Simpsons Tapped Out" (remove the brackets fill in the device name)
Many times the cache is stored on clouds, and so it is imperative to delete the cache.theLEITZ wrote:

Depends on what type device you are using. I listed a more complete, easier understood for the less electronically inclined.
Hope this works for you.
