I was just about to suggest something along those lines. Put off Homer Lizard 'til the end of the event when most people have crafted most or all of what they want and are looking to figure out what, if anything, they should craft before the event ends.

i've got homer lizard, already saving up for the camel after planting 3 of each egyptian tent and two pillars. the crafting items are too easy to obtain here!

I'm hoping this will be true.

It's small, but cute. And since it is free, I'm definitely crafting it. Don't really need al that Egyptian stuff in my town anyway.

I crafted it in my first town: that and the screaming caterpillar completed the character set. But I'm leaving it for later in my other towns. It's more important to me to get the panini toaster to 4-hour intervals by crafting ferns in those towns.

SO MANY NPC's......

Every single one i have gotten in my game is in storage, i have started to hate them, with a passion...I honestly haven't a clue why I am crafting anymore, apart from items that affect my tree-hugging rating so I can sell off my remaining minnow ponds and camp fires for a little bit of cash, I can't see any of this stuff doing anything but bulking out my storage, as far as i can see, there's nothing income earning, nothing with a bonus, I just feel so lucky I started just before Sci-Fi and managed to craft some income earners from that and the THoH after it, that event also gave me the town square with a bonus, plus I had things like BBQ pig from Thanksgiving...

Just seems like this event is being so stingy at the minute.... Wonder if this is going to be the new normal... :confused:

I feel your pain. To the point where I waste currency by just leveling up instead of crafting a bunch of stuff I know I will never, ever use. A good portion of my inventory has literally never seen the light of day, it went straight there and has never moved (some of it I never even bothered to get the currency for placing it. I sometimes wonder what would happen, probably nothing...) and I've grown tired of making it harded and harder on myself to find things. Someone a week or so ago suggested a one day amnesty to clean it out (I loved the flush it down the worlds largest toilet idea) Something has to give, but I'm not holding my breath.

OK, end of rant!
