Yep, this problem has been around for a long time and people have been complaining about it since I joined the forum. I don't know if they will ever fix it. I would still like to be able to grey-out more objects. If they made is so we could grey-out all living and non-living decorations separately, it would be a small improvement.

Drives me absolutely nuts. I have no clue as to what the purpose of doing selections that way might be.

There is actually a weird kind of pattern to it, just takes some getting used to.

The worst thing to move to date is the ugly, metal Christmas tree package thing... Seriously. I was about to bash in my iPad because it would not let me select it. A hedge over an inch away, a tree waaaay over there... It took me over 35 tries to get it then I moved it, didn't like it there and went through the same drama to move it back.

Wonder why it is designed like that for? I mean the way it looks, so dark and gloomy like a Christmas tree from Alcatraz.
