My impression that people who are bored just want something related to the event to work towards that's new. Easily solved by changing the balance of returning vs new content in the next event.
I'd be happy with a "bonus time" task to collect after getting all the prizes (even if it's not donuts, at least it's something to do).
Personally I finished this section with 8+ days to go, and that was also whilst doing side-quests for Homer & Bart, etc. This week's Monorail will be another couple of days of stuff to do, but a Gil deal partway through an event (that generates nightmares, the easiest thing we can tap) isn't the answer a lot of us were hoping for. :)- The one thing I did get done during the lull is I finally maxed out my SH currency after going crazy on tennis courts. I have a feeling that the next level will require it. Like the last one did.
- I'm not bored at all. I'm working toward earning more items so I can craft more stuff, and focused pretty hard on it.
My gf is still working toward the personal prizes too, and this is the first event she has enjoyed since the Super Hero one... so I'm glad the pace is not as tough as past ones this year as that helps her continue to play. - Because I have multiple Springfields (NOT feeder towns, fool that I am) I am very relieved at the relatively relaxed pace so I can keep on goal in all my towns. Even so, I've given up working on SH and the monorail for the duration of the event to keep what sanity I have left :D
- I'm still working towards the last prize. Then there's the shopkeepers challenges for free donuts, and between those I'm working on leveling up my campfire and crafting wailing walls and spooky walls for the bonuses. I'm hoping to reach 200% before the event ends. :-)
- Hate to say it, but I'm pretty much over Halloween this year. I've crafted over 30 wailing walls, so I'm set there. I've finished this rounds challenges and have a six day gap till the new ones hit. Not looking forward to act three, honestly. I really want the U.B.O., but outside of that, everything in act three looks pretty *meh* to me. Sorry, just not excited about Holiday Homer.
Only thing half way keeping my attention is the potential deals they might roll out before it finishes. And if yesterday's overpriced Gil's deal is any indication of what we have to look forward to...I'm over Halloween this year. - Taking advantage of the lull this week, getting the 5 donuts for building monorail tracks, and also building up the Springfield heights currencies.
- I'm somewhat bored with the event so I've decided to do a major redesign of my Springfield, I got the tower last Sunday so just stocking up ready for act 3 as I like the look of the walls and towers that should be available then, seems to me that player who have lots of the children and been a long term players have finished the tasks quite quickly as there seems to be a lack of new items to strive for, if you are a newer player then there is greater selection of items to craft so that should keep you entertained better, just my opinion but I feel that the time allowed per act is about right.
- sideshowdan9Seasoned RookieI am done with Act 2. Now nothing to do for a few days.

My priority right now is finishing the Evil Shopkeeper tasks for 20 free donuts, THEN constant recycling for 16 monorail tracks and 5 free donuts every week, THEN grinding zombies for wailing walls increasing my bonus and bramble bushes to build my giant hedge maze; THEN completing the THOH cumulative gummy prize because i haven't obtained TentaCorp yet.
So NO, I DON'T need more content at the moment and I'm not bored at all. Also, I'm 6th on my leaderboard for sharing purple blobs! And I've got some serious neighbors! (Looking at you, Colombo, Brett, & Neuro! How about sleeping occasionally?!? :P )
IF i actually ever get a lull from giving out blobs, I'm designing stuff in town, because all this new stuff is fun to integrate in my SF. And THEN I'm taking pics and posting in the Showcase section. So there's that too. This event is just busy enough without being a chore. Love it!
A breath of fresh air. Just love the positivity :)
I'll add to my list of to-dos as I hadn't noticed there was a Purple Speed blob leaderboard. Cheers!
Wow, I'm #5 on my list.
