- I missed out on two crafting items. No Feeder town. I thought they would still be available in act 2. My bad.
- The game wouldn't connect for 3 days and I couldn't complete gingerbread house or get patches and poor violet. I'm more annoyed it was because I couldn't connect than at not finishing.
I did get the ski chalet but only because I bypassed the clam sign.
I have a feeder town, but it was not bows that limited me. Grumpstown wrote:

*snort* :D ooops, maybe she sold her name and gave it as charity
oh know I know why my brain scrambled > Dr Hook's Sylvia's Mother playing on the radio haha- wadebearRetired HeroI crafted everything except the Lamp Posts and Candy Canes. I was about to hold off then yesterday I looked at the actual text in the menu and decided to go ahead just in case.
How I did it? Well first off my lovely neighbors have dropped dozens of Presents in my town. Many more than I could possibly return. 128 if I've done my math right.
I looked at the walk through & task tables LPNintendoITA posted and worked up a time management plan. Using that information I was able to run several of the Snowman tasks twice - the first round 1 character short of the requirement, the second with everyone available. It allowed me to pick up the extra Hats I needed to craft everything.
While I do have a secondary town it's a real town. I maintain it as a near duplicate of my primary town and actually have to work a little harder with it since I've only just recently bought a small batch of donuts to get some stuff I also wanted in my primary town - which always seems to get lots more freebie donuts from Mystery Boxes and Friend Actions. "Oh great, 30 more donuts.. Why couldn't I have gotten them in my other town..."
I only dropped 4 Presents between my own two towns before I knew we'd only get 5 whole Presents a day. The rest I've been dropping in my neighbor towns. I just wish I could get more Presents to drop - I feel guilty that I can reciprocate all my Nice neighbors with as many Presents as they've gifted to me. - I got everything done in act one plus one round of bonus donuts, with 2 or 3 days left over.
It was easy enough, I find it easy enough to take my cell phone out every 4 hours or so to check my town. I even missed a day because I was doing Ned's 24 hour task from the ski lift the same day I finished the snowman, so I had to wait to start the gingerbread house questline.
What stops everyone from being able to take out their phone? If work has a policy against it make a quick bathroom trip or smoke and lunch breaks, start when u wake up, hit it up again at lunch, and again after work and you can easily finish. - I missed the clam sign by about 100. I was honestly being lazy because I never imagined the prizes would disappear. First time I've missed crafting an item in an event. Otherwise it was a good first act and fairly easy to complete.
- I got all the prizes, fully upgraded the snowman and the gingerbread house, and crafted the Wooly Bully and the ski chalet. I was saving up for the Efcot Center so I didn't craft the others, thinking I could do it later. The ski chalet was the one I really wanted anyway, so I'm not that upset. I didn't get any bonus donuts from the hats but I did get the 40 bonus ones for the daily tasks. All in all, I got everything I wanted, so I'm satisfied. No feeder towns. :-)
- Finished the prizes and got bonus donuts a couple times. Finished the big Snowman and Gingerbread Mansion and crafted the Ski Chalet, Igloo, the ice sculptures, plus one set of light poles since I got the Ski Chalet the night before a craft something daily mission and the set of 3 light poles was about the only thing I could afford that morning.
- i miss old times where cat and dogs were options in this polls. such shame they're gone
- In my main town, I (narrowly) got all the prizes. My "feeder" town missed out on getting an igloo, and got stuck with a level three gingerbread house and the cabin. Mostly due to me figuring I could craft at any point (the igloo deficit, not the gingerbread issue--the latter came from not having enough characters).
Usually, I can get a bonus round or two. This act was a challenge, partly because I was sick a few days. But, I work 8-12 (depending, average 9) hours, in a factory where cell phones are not permitted. So sometimes I do wonder how people are not hitting goals with the tapping they claim. I tap in the morning, then after work maybe a couple hours on the hour. Weekends I can tap more often.
My feeder town, such that it is, does not get an igloo. My main town design didn't call for one and I got the chalet in both. I'm kinda disappointed, sure--I had a nice setup with the igloo and some ice walls envisioned--but, angry? Nah. Something else will come along.
My regular town, I was saving for a second chalet and got a Efcot center instead. I'll be ok. I'd be *more* ok with some eggnog, but I don't see any in the store. Maybe that costs special event premium currency.
