How do I enable images in my posts?

Magically in the middle of the night an EA fairy randomly chooses people and sends them a PM saying they are a level 2 member.

I am being half serious, there is no calculation for advancement. It has been suggested that on the 22nd of each past months EA promotes certain people at their discretion.

They should consider allowing a moderator. I'm sure someone here would volunteer. The more new users coming online has made the forums quite a mess of repeat threads.

I'm still waiting for the EA fairy to do that.

But if said fairy is instead working on re-establishing my ability to actually play the game, then I'm cool with that also.

I think its based on post count and activity. I was barely here a couple weeks and was upgraded.

Yeah, I really don't see a point in "upgrading" players, since it hinders everyone's experience to not be able to do certain things. And then the people who are promoted are (voluntarily) tasked with reposting everyone else's photos, links, etc.

Seems like either a misguided attempt to superficially create an active forum/make people feel special or it's their way of cutting down on photos and stuff clogging their servers by people who aren't deemed active and loyal. I vote for the latter, based on how EA runs *everything*.

im not sure if reporting was the reason... i got it at around post 30, not sure why. maybe because i was the few ppl answering questions here and there...

Sorry, somehow "reposting" became "reporting"...going to fix that now. I've just noticed a lot of (very nice) level 2+ players reposting other people's posts to embed photos, have active links, etc. It stinks that the situation requires people to do that extra work, but I for one and very glad they do! It's so much nicer not having to copy/paste links in order to see what someone's talking about.

Knowing EA, thats EXACTLY the reason they picked the 22nd. Lazy B**tards! :P

That would make sense. I got my promotion on 10/22, and I know a lot of other people got one the same day. And as has also been mentioned here, 11/22 was a promotion day for many as well.

So, if the world doesn't end on the 21st, hopefully everyone who hasn't been promoted yet will get theirs on 12/22. :wink:

I would be very concerned about this if I were you. Saint Peter (or whoever) is NOT going to let you into heaven if you don't have an avatar.

Actually, I've heard that if you don't have an avatar, you get LEFT BEHIND.

I'm cool with that though. Not much of a paradise kind of guy.

But I still want an avatar so I could choose to stay behind. Maybe I'd sing que sera sera while everyone else huddles in safety....
