How do you get presents to drop in neighbors towns?

Ok let's take this a step back and get this thread back on track, please refrain from continuing these arguments/discussion over the title/question, if it continues I will have to find the key and lock this thread :P

I have not received any presents from EA either. Just from my neighbors.

sorry...I retract my statement..the presents did not actually show up until I actually went into another town. :oops:

I'm surprised that you can't buy them.

Am I losing my mind (possible) or does the present supply counter max out at 5?

I'm pretty sure I only dropped 3 yesterday, so I would have expected to have 7 to hand out today. But nope, just 5 again.
