I saw lots of people saying that if they tapped anything, even Bob or a UFO, during the Halloween and Christmas events, they would end up getting fewer payouts (i.e. if you can only get event currency from 90 taps, tapping Bob would mean you'd only get it from 89).
I never saw anything confirming whether this was true or not, but I definitely noticed sometimes during those events the payouts would stop early (like on the 1st or 2nd tap in a particular town - so 88th or 89th tap instead of 90th). So something was going on there.
So absent something definitively confirming this doesn't happen (and maybe explaining why we're getting shorted otherwise), why chance it?
