How long before you became a premium player
Probably about six months in. I started playing when the game rebooted in 2012. Got an itunes card for Christmas. Gone straight downhill since then.

Two months in 2012, but I haven't bought any Donuts since, and not sure I ever will.
I have a few planned/designated just-in-case spots in my Springfield though for Krustylu, Aztec Theater, and Kamp Krusty.
