Probably about six months in. I started playing when the game rebooted in 2012. Got an itunes card for Christmas. Gone straight downhill since then.

About a year maybe, once my cousins started playing and bought stuff - took them all of 5 mins to be premium players

About five minutes into the game. I was using donuts to speed up tasks, buildings, etc. I think I reached Level 22 in, like, one day. (Exaggerating, but you get my point.). I stopped using donuts to speed things up after that (but some exceptions). But I use them to buy everything else. Talk about an easy mark. EA headquarters probably has erected a shrine in my honor.

I started playing in June. I was fine until the July 4th limited time items showed up. I bought Abe Lincoln and his cabin. I don't regret it, but I may have waited if I would have known that limited time didn't necessarily mean one time only.

I started playing in late June, and I just bought my first batch of donuts when the last Gil deal appeared. So I lasted what, 8 months? It's definitely addictive, now I want to own all the premium things!

I started playing half way through the whacking day event and didn't buy donuts until after Christmas. I couldn't resist duff brewery so I had to buy it. :mrgreen: Looks like I can't get enough of that wonderful duff. :mrgreen:

About a year and have bought the Gil deal with Krusty Lu studios, Dr.Nick and the cannon, also got brandin and sped up all her kids.

I don't speed up anything but I do like to have every possible building. :) But I don't buy donut decorations. Very rarely i do. I think my first one was Mr. Sparkly billboard.

About two months into the game. Bought a Boatload of Donuts once. I'm completely hooked. Going to get an iTunes card on my way home from the office in order to buy that damned yuppiechaun (or whatever the hell it's called). Damn you, EA! :)

I haven't been buying premium currency but I've bought some premiums by saving up :)

If had spare money to throw around I'd buy one boatload just for the hell of it, and to show my support for the game, but not at the moment...

If the game is still around in a couple of years I might just give in lol :P

So for now no joining the dark side for me :twisted:

Less than a month. I started between the Christmas and the Valentines events and bought some donuts for Lincoln and the last Gil deal. I have a simple philosophy for games. Once I hit a certain amount of entertainment I want to spend money. Not crazy amounts mind you ($25 so far), but I feel the devs have earned it and I like nice things.

I started in August and didn't buy any donuts until this last Gil deal. I had saved up enough to buy Kodos and Brandine through grinding and lots of Halloween donut luck, but I figured using some of my gift cards wouldn't be a bad thing. When I get a little bit more financial stability, I'd like to give myself a 1-scratcher-per-week allowance.
