- Sorry I can't be of any help as I have not reached the limit yet.
Every time I add something I wonder if I will get the dreaded message.
I have the iPad 2.
You have a great looking town AJ :) - I'm a completionist and passed it not long after EA implemented the item warning. I'm around 6,500 items now. I was on an iPad 4th gen up until four weeks ago. My town was getting progressively laggy on 4th gen. I just upgraded to an iPad Air 2, and my town is silky smooth again.
- AJ, I had the message quite awhile ago but ignored it. I play on either my iPhone 6+ now or my ipad2 depending on where I am. I have not noticed any difference in stability but you know my town and see I put away deco not in use.
- iphone 5S always on latest software. Was also fine on my iPhone 4S and was well over decoration limit back then. Have been for a very long time now.
My friends with a 5C say my town takes longer to load than others. - I haven't gotten the warning, yet. I'm kind of surprised I haven't.
- Passed the 6.5k mark a while back and still no performance issues.
- The last warning I got was for 4800 items. Game still runs great on my HTC One M8 phone.
- Thanks for all the feedback guys! I really appreciate it! :D
My town is running smoothly so I haven't had issues yet. I just wanted to make sure it would stay that way if I passed that limit, because I still have a lot more decorating I have to do. Those of you who are my neighbors know what I'm talking about. I take my time decorating different parts of my town. It keeps me busy during down time :) jippy6048 wrote:

And I had an iPad 2 until last year and it was beginning to lag on it. It was probably because it was over used at that point.- I got the warning while decorating my new superhero area, but my device is running the same as always. I've actually gotten the message a couple times before, but I hardly ever remove anything, so it must just keep warning me any time I place something new. Or the number keeps going up, but I haven't noticed since I just quickly tap it away.
Edit: I have a 16 GB Kobo Arc, which I don't think is very fancy or anything. It's not even a year old yet though and I have barely anything else on it.
