I can just tell this update is going to be another disaster.

oh, for the love of... it's the first real day of a month long event, and already with the complaining about maybe not getting all the things. give it some time to see if the odds and rates of getting eggs and prizes change as EA tracks the numbers and trends from the event. they have made it easier for us before in the past when people thought things would be impossible, why don't you give them the benefit of the doubt this time?

just tap things for now and enjoy all the free stuff they didn't have to design and give us in the first place :)

This looks nigh impossible to get every egg prize without donuts right now. I'm assuming eggs will be more common once we get past the main quest. It has happened before. What has also happened before, is EA changing the odds once they realized how unrealistic they were for us.

So yes, I say keep shouting at EA to change the odds. But also, don't lose your patience, because nothing is set in stone for the entire event. Plenty of people have made that mistake before.

The other option is, as the event and quests move forward, more characters will have tasks to gain eggs instead of cash--I hope this happens

AJ, i haven't even started playing the event yet (busy at work) but once i finish the 24hr task (in about an hour when i'm finished work), i can safely say that this event, based on what i've read is a real disaster. I think what i'll probably do is buy some donuts, get the two or three premium items i want and that's it, won't bother until it's over. I guess tomorrow night i'll find out fully after the 24hr period of trying it out before i say anymore, but i'm not confident. EA should just have stuck to the formula they had...

Yes, the wheel is hated, but stick all the crap on there and let us sell it afterwards if we don't want it. There was no need to try something new.

I also don't like this feature added where you can't go stright to a character that's in your task bar anymore - i HATE that. Being able to automatically navigate to a character that was in the task bar was handy. Now i gotta search for that character. Me no like :evil:

Like I said before they need to fire the idiot who came up with that miserable wheel, and this stupid box idea! They need to stop trying to change what's not broken in the first place.

What bothers me most tho is that instead of fixing major bugs that we have, and adding things like new ground cover like people have been asking for over 3 months, and adding more decerations and whatnot to the game they sit there making garbage that only pisses the players off.

I get it they are trying something new, but seriously didn't they get it before the mojarity of players don't want chance based prizes. That's just stupid in so many ways! :roll:

Are there any theories on whether or not we will be given a free item on a certain day during the event (perhaps Easter itself?) like during past events, and what that might be? Will it be something from the boxes, or something new?

I searched and I came up with "banned". Maybe he's around with a different name, who knows?

Like all the new decorations, but I can't buy them....or exchange them for Easter eggs: at the mercy of mystery boxes.

Already bought the premium characters I wanted - love them.

The rest of very nice buildings, characters etc. I can't buy or exchange for eggs - at the mercy of mystery boxes even if I expend a lot of donuts.

No incentive to visit my neighbors and collect eggs. What's the point?

I searched joss banned and found some info but not why. When I clicked on this thread I assumed he had started it.
