I was disappointed we didn't get John too. Imo he's the much more iconic character from that episode. They could still release more things though, plus they often give us a free item at the end of events. I was very happy to see this update too! I'm not gay, but I have lots of friends/family who are so I know how important this issue is.

Actually i gol used to see in this event very minor characters added by EA, and i appreciate this policy. I guess they keep more important characters as john and julio for a future level update.

It's posts like OP that make me happy to see EA do stuff like this. I'm not gay, but I do have gay friends and I've seen the things they endure because of their sexual orientation.Good job EA!

I like the fact that they picked a voiced charecter. Adding John might be tough legally since the character from the show was so basically a simpsonized rl celebrity.

You forgot to mention Ernst and Gunter who are based on real life couple Siegfried and Roy... Although I think it would make more sense to release them with a Vegas/casino themed update.
