Give yourself a $ limit and stick to it, otherwise this game has an awfully slippery slope (unless you can afford it).

I've been lucky to buy my donut purchases the times Gil has sold them at the discounted rate. Plus I don't buy multiples of the same items, so my donuts last me a very long time.
