I FINALLY RECEIVED A VERIFICATION CODE!!!
I received an email from tech support to try logging in again. I logged in and FINALLY received a verification code email! The code worked I’m back in my game.

TLDR: If you haven't been receiving verification codes, try again now!
I've been locked out of my main Springfield for almost two months due to not receiving verification codes. After EA was unable to immediately fix the issue, I kept trying again every once in a while to no effect. I didn't receive an email from EA like Jonofmeans but, inspired by this post, decided to try again and finally got a code! I'm pleased to be back in my town and decided to leave my first forum post to encourage others in the same boat to try again.
