- Sorry about that, this message system won't acknowledge the emoticons I put in, three musical notes and three laughing smilies.

For what?
Did I ask any questions?
Who are you anyway?
Bonus: Are you happy now?
There are no questions in my original post. Why would I have used question marks? (Extra credit) wadebear wrote:
I keep doing that. I was thinking about it all day yesterday. I want to have as much of the Railyard done as I can before the update hits (if there is one) and we get a new event (if there is one). Then once again I forgot this morning and sent all my characters on 4 hour jobs.
I guess I'm just gonna have to start leaving myself a note...
You can free up characters, by storing the building the character is associated with, or storing the building the character is currently in. Certain characters and buildings can never be stored, the three most famous would be Homer, Lisa, and the Simpson house. After you store them, go into your inventory, select the character and / or building, and they will be free again, waiting for a task.- I suggested setting a reminder before but you said something like you'd just ignore the reminder? I don't get that. You would get a reminder and then you send characters off to the rail yard.
- Trash day and the Railyard are on the same day for me, so I never forget :)
- I'm skipping it for this first time this week. I think I will make donuts more cheaply if I put the railyard workers on regular cash jobs to earn money for KEMs and bonus boxes.
- I gave up trying to have a monorail that spans my whole town. Too much of a grind in my opinion. I just got enough to connect my rails so it looked alright.

I've stopped doing the weekly rail yard grind since I turned on my XP collider 24/7. I can generate over 100 donuts a day. The effort required to check in every 1, 2, or 3 hours for 5 donuts is not worth the time and effort, when I can just check in every 4 hours for KEM farming.- wadebearRetired Hero

Well you dodged a bullet. I almost wrote a long didactic rant on the proper usage of punctuation to go with my flippant remarks. Yes, I seriously considered being an English teacher as a teenager - thousands of students should give a sigh of relief I didn't.
The only 2 options for emoticons in the forum are the built in ones and inserting them with the Img button, which requires uploading them to a server service first and remembering the links.
Oddly the Answers forum DOES have a bunch of offbeat emoticons (beer, police officer, cocktail), although there is no musical note. BlackFloppyDisk wrote:

Just a warning: several months ago I wanted to free my characters from Railyard tasks to do event tasks and I attempted to store one of the railyard buildings (I don't remember if it was the metal, plastic or glass). Anyway it wouldn't let me store the building but it DID glitch every character I had working there. I had to store each glitched character individually to fix it. Thank god it didn't include Lisa or Homer or I would have had to wait on EA. I don't know if they've patched this, but just a warning to never try to store your railyard buildings.
