Railyard Donut Efficiency

You have to do your own math. It depends on your level and bonus %. Take how many hours all your characters have to work to get to the 5 donut bonus. Take that many hours and figure out how much cash & XP they can make doing jobs. See how many KEM's you can buy with that cash. Determine how many KEM's it takes for you to reach a bonus round of donuts.

What may be efficient for someone, lets say at 1000% may not be efficient for someone at 300%

Let me do some math
Average character send=15
Daily Job: 3x4 hour + 1x8 hour (average payout 4hr=220, 8hr=380)
Average Day to complete railyard : 3
% bonus = x
Rtt farming.

Number of rtt = 1000000/(15000*x)
Cost of 5 donuts=2* N of rtt * 150000 (without payback) = 20.000.000/x
Payout offline job= (3*220+380)*3(day)*15(character)*x=46800*x
5donuts=payout
20.000.000/x=46800*x
X=20.67
X in %= 2067

With Collider:
Number of rtt = 1000000/(15000*x*5(Collider on)
Bonus=9.21
% Bonus=921

Real bonus= 921-100=821
Without SH= 821-153=668
668 may be the bonus limit.

Same here. It probably takes me about two weeks to collect from the slurry plant enough times to earn the donuts but that recycle grind was too much

For me, I found the grind to be overly taxing for the return... so in my second town I didn't even bother to start it.

Since efficient farming requires playing in 4-hour increments, my rule of thumb tends to be that I send everyone except the glass recyclers out on cash jobs unless I'm 100% certain I can log in every hour of a particular 4-hr block. When there isn't an event pulling away many of the recyclers (this event is especially bad for this), I find I can make enough metal and plastic with a few hours of concentrated effort to make up for skipping a 4-hr cycle or two in favor of cash (since glass always seems to bottleneck the whole process at some point anyway).

During this particular event, recycling is painfully slow unless you have all of the relevant premium characters (including a non-pregnant Brandine). Unless your percentage is really low (like <200%), i can't imagine there's much value in recycling until the event ends, especially when the requirements for bonus rounds are set so low in the event questline.

That said, I agree that I'd be curious to see more mathematical analysis.

Personally i mart farm and railyard, i log in every 4 hours and get 9 donuts from leveling. I see the railyard as bonus, i did the math so i never spend more then 50% of my 4 hour income, so the lost income/xp is not significant.

I'm not so brilliant... I've done an horrible mistake!!!
I try to correct.

I am still doing it for the rail lines, the donuts are just a bonus for me.

I also just like the animation. Watching them do all their recycling tasks is cute.
