I hate to say it, but....

I like it just fine. I like that there's a bit more strategy involved this time. I'm not really worried about finishing on time, because I'm sure the resources will be more abundant once more characters can earn the currency. It's a slow start, but all events are.

Yes, I'm sure they are using donuts, or doing something that's against the rules. However, I too am a bit confused about my progress, because my A Town is far ahead of my B Town, but I've been really trying to do everything at the same time. I do have more friends in my A Town who have been dropping seeds, so I guess that makes a bigger difference than I thought it would.

I got the 50 seeds from the prize track, and spread them out among my neighbors as I did the daily visits. I did come across about 10-20 neighbors that still have money on their buildings instead of the mutant plants.

the only thing I want so far is that tall grass. so I hope I can eventually craft that.

Yes, I want to put it around my Old Simpson Farm! I do also really want the Farmer's Market.

I agree. Although I can't say it's my least favorite event yet because I'm still trying to understand it. I just started being able to squish the corn stalks, so maybe after a few days I'll get the hang of it. I also really wish they would scramble the neighbor visit order. Us mid-late letters get no love.

Seems much worse than the last event. Too many different things going on: crafting, earning prizes, upgrading, Cecil's tasks.. Wanted something different, but this is not what I had in mind. That said, am off to a slow start, but have recovered before. So reserving judgment.

Not sure how this event will rank for me. Too early to tell. So far, I'm enjoying it.

I sure don't see how this event could ever bring me the stress that I had during the Easter event last year. All I could do that entire event was stand by and watch friends go down in flames. There was a knot in my stomach much of the time. I have nothing of the sort in this one. At all. Maybe because in that event there were so many truly great prizes with such bad odds.

At worst, in the end, I might look back on this event as "meh". But it certainly is not the emotional rollercoaster that Easter was. For me, that is.

@durarararara, I was thinking that same thing as I was taskng all my characters today. I try to forget that, during the Halloween event, I said it was stupid that there were so few characters on event-currency-earning tasks. Just the kids trick or treat task. This one has about 80. (I, like, totally made that number up.)

I'm glad the tasks are short ones ... If I decide I'd like to see Fat Tony in the hot tub for the afternoon, I only have a short wait. ;)

I agree it's a little complicated because it seems they've staged a lot of different activities for us.

But I don't feel too frustrated because they are being pretty helpful in specifying who is in which group. I have just been scrolling through the character list and selecting the most favorable task. They have given the applicable characters precedence in the list, and their applicable tasks are yellow. So pretty easy to let them guide me -- for now.

Not feeling the love with this one either, think EA have dropped the ball with the neighbour visits. I visited all mine this morning, however I think it would be easy to stop after you've collected,all the materials for the day. Unless of course you'd like the odds of a stray doughnut or the cash. I too had neighbours who had cash only to tap, did it anyway. As they are long time players level 49 and upwards I'll carry on until there is nothing left to tap. Not all my neighbours appear to playing this event. I know I need to give it time, but it hasn't grasped my imagination the way of the super heros or stone cutters events.
