- Hope EA can help you Random. Saw your town last night and just thought you were redesigning...
- I've read many instances where EA reverted a town back to its former.
I'm 90% sure they'll do it for you as well. randomtest276 wrote:

My sister trolled me and bombed my town, so I contacted EA and they put everything back - change your password to a more complex one and contact EA to bring your town back :)
That is great advice !
When you set a password use upper case and lower case letter and random numbers. For EG.
Address011
You could choose :- ADdr3Ss0ll
With a password like that it would be very hard for most to get into your account. :D
Actually that example isn't really a good one. Both are 10 character, alpha numeric only. Essentially the same security but one is visibly harder to remember. This could make a difference when thwarting your kids from remembering what they tried to watch you enter, but not a hacker.
Something longer but easier to remember, is a better suggestion. Something like "12Homer34Simpson56" is actually much more secure with 18 characters.
You're trying to make it hard for hackers, not your own brain! Brevis45 wrote:
guys it's not hackers i think it's the still present wrong town glitch :(urlaub694 wrote:

good luck mate!
they solved my harp of death problem restoring my town to the date previous to the lvl 44 update so they can do it for your town too dont worry- 4junk3000New SpectatorRiiight. No password needed when it's a technical error that's EA's fault!
We need a password confirmation toggle switch (meaning it can be deselected if you don't want to use it) to nuke town or spend donuts. Fail 2x and it logs you off immediately, tossing out any unwanted visitors.
I think we should start a petition with this latest victim as the first name on the list! - First, I hope they fix you up quickly! I'm use that they can help you.
On passwords, it's always best to use something that isn't an actual word. Advice I've read from respected sites online recommend doing something like thinking of a phrase and using the first letter from the each word, with some modifications. For instance, this would be a bad phrase to use in this game but is just an example: "I love The Simpsons Tapped Out" could be a password of: IlTSTO!968. (that's the I and L as the first few characters). There are no dictionary words that make it easier to crack, has upper and lower case, has a symbol (the !) and some random numbers. It's not that long, but you probably get the idea. :)
I hope that helps! - For what it's worth, if someone hacks your account, the type/length/content of your password t is irrelevant.
