Contact EA bud, they can revert it in its original state.
Yes, please try this. I will bring this to admin attention.
Moderators can help with technical support issues? You guys have special contacts? So we can come here and you guys can get us in touch with someone directly? Good to know!!
No, mods are not for general technical support. In cases where people have lost items due to someone else accessing their town, I can notify the forum admin, and they will bring this quickly to the attention of somebody who can help.
I was not aware that you could do that. Very interesting.
Nor did I! :-\- Good luck!
- That sucks Random, I really hope you get this fixed. Good luck!

Well now that my donuts are lost and every building in store there is no reason to play.
Now EA is my only Hope :(
<shudders>
You know things are desperate when EA is one's ONLY HOPE.
Good luck to you!richardaca969 wrote:
For what it's worth, if someone hacks your account, the type/length/content of your password t is irrelevant.
Actually, a good password will help them from hacking your account.ambug666 wrote:

Then what is the correct way to reply? I haven't had to contact EA, but if I do, I want it to be quick and efficient.- Is this a common problem with people that post their town on this forum? The day I posted pics of my town I got an awkward message. The app said that my game didn't save on my other device. I only play on my iPhone, so that means a hacker got my password and went into the game to look around. As soon as i noticed i changed my password, but I might not be so lucky next time. I'm probably going to delete all the pics of my town from the forum. Hackers see a pretty down and try to delete it :(
- That's really bad. I wish you good luck.

It is almost certain that nobody hacked you.
One problem is the wrong town glitch. What happens is that Joe Schmoe taps on the game icon to play his game, but EA's system glitches out and he ends up in control of your town. At that point he can sell anything that can be sold and spend all your donuts. Joe never had your password. Changing your password won't prevent it from happening again.
This is what I was thinking when I saw this thread. maxeerg is right - in this case any password wouldn't make a difference. I've been logged in to other people's town by accident (through the server glitch) a couple of times before. I never touch anything when this happens (I'll admit again like I did in another post that I take a quick look, but think it would be like ruining someone's work if I touched anything - I think that's just mean), and I have to believe that most people wouldn't either - they hopefully close the game and log back in to their town.
Unfortunately, there's always a few jerks in every crowd. I am so sorry that this has happened to you. :(
I hope it all gets sorted out quickly.dukeofurl01 wrote:

The most efficient way is either by requesting a callback or requesting a live chat (both options available on the support site). Chat is probably better because then you are not glued to your phone. Wait times for both vary.
I personally will never go through email for support again. They got back to me, but they took too long (and I know of people who are still waiting for a response from them after an insane period of time ie. 3+ months). But on the flip side I also know of people who got a response through email support in a couple of hours. It's hit and miss. The reps for all three methods, including email, are usually really nice, tho.
(PLEASE NOTE: if you play the game on only on your cell phone, you should be warned that they will likely ask you to log in to your game at some point, so calling from another line is probably better if you choose the call back option).
