I imagine some of them sitting there with spreadsheets. Hmmmm, neighbor X click on my Kwik-e-mart on Wednesday...
Oh heaven's no! Who cares enough about a silly little game to assemble a spreadsheet?
All I do is keep track on a 6x8' white board. All of my neighbors are on one axis, and my buildings are on the other. The neighbors are color coded according to a simple matrix calculated based on the number of their visits in a week multiplied by how helpful their taps are, with extra credit points awarded for ease of navigation in their towns, how "non-grid like" their Springfields are, and how often they post in the forums.
If they dip into the Danger Zone (reds ands oranges) for too many days, they get a written warning sent by PM. After 3 written warnings, they have to either write an essay about how their behavior will improve, or engage in a quick phone consultation with me where we discuss the expectations for remaining in my Neighborhood.
Pretty easy peasy stuff. But yeah, that spreadsheet stuff is totally overboard!
Seriously, I don't care if people want to delete over whether their neighbors visit or not. Or how they keep track, or what their criteria are. I'd rather be deleted than have someone keep me on their friend list and think negative thoughts about me every day because I'm not doing what they want. There are zillions of people in the Add Me threads, so in theory everyone should be able to assemble a neighborhood full of people they are happy with, if they are willing to put whatever amount of effort in that it's going to take to do that.
I don't really have a big whiteboard for TSTO, but if anyone does, can you explain it to me so I can start one to keep my bills in order?
Hugs to everyone in the forums!
